The purpose of this book is to illustrate, educate, and remind people of the brutal horror of the Holocaust through the art of my mother, Eva Fischer. It’s important to not judge this era as remote, because it does not deserve to be forgotten.
We must remember this out of respect for all those who were killed solely for being Jewish.
We have to do this out of respect for their descendants.
We must remember that denial is a preview of repetition. This dark historical era - the annihilation of the Jews will always remain a scar in history. It must never be repeated to any people, any human being, regardless of their race, creed, ethnicity, and gender.
